After lots of publicity, and following American newsgroups, the new Bernina 830 has been launched in the UK.
Despite the fact we are in the bottom of a recession, or so we are led to believe,I think this will a popular Bernina product.
I am still unsure whether I can justify such a huge outlay, but we are planning another visit to Manchester to have a look.

ps thanks for Buckfastleigh info, we visited there last year! We saw where the monks make the tonic wine, very pretty place indeed. A bit further down into Devon than my home town, lovely though.
