The Fashion and Embroidery Show at Harrogate is now run by a business instead of being sponsored by Madeira.
Perhaps that was why this years show seemed to lack the usual buzz. Colleges, students and individual textile artists were still present, but there was also the usual plethora of vendors.
Ii enjoyed it and will go again, Here are a few pictures.

Your pics are interesting Jenny Bear, even if we do not have an sewing bone in our bodies, and that includes Jeannie! Even though she tells me she was forced to do sewing at school and made some pretty cool embroidery.
She was taught back then that the back of the work should always look like the front.....and she did some pretty stuff back in '69. Never touched it since tho, just too stressful for her. Too many bad memories, funny how a bad, uninspired teacher can spoil things. Marvin ;0)
